1530Biked 14 miles to Austin's Colony Park
I biked into the wind the whole way there, and was tempted to jump off and throw my bike into traffic out of frustration. I could actually feel myself getting slower on some of the downhills! I got to the park and started answering some of the questions I brought for my class assignment.
"Why is fluted concrete block used on the restroom building?"
"What surfacing material is used on the multi-use path?"
Why is resilient surfacing used on the areas around the playgrounds?"
WHO CARES, IT'S FREEZING OUT HERE!!!
I couldn't take the cold wind while I was just standing there looking around the park, so I jumped back on the bike and had a much more pleasant ride back. I probably got back in half the time it took me to get there.
I talked to Raquel shortly after getting back. She was down for the Junior Cadet Achievement Program(JCAP) this weekend, and I didn't even realize she was staying with I-1(the outfit on the floor right under mine).
I made a workout plan for the next two weeks with Israel. It includes a lot more weight training since I'm not running a lot right now. Hopefully some swimming too; we'll see.

I forgot to ask you if you did anything special while dealing with this tendon problem. I'm just resting icing and heating.
Good work on fighting that wind!
