The Corps Run yesterday went pretty well except it was a very slow pace. We trotted along for 2.5 miles at a 12:00 pace. It was the first one of the season and we are still trying to keep all the new freshmen in the runs.

Pretty good run this morning. Good to cut it a little short this week before picking it back up next week. I could've stood to be a little more hydrated but it wasn't too bad. I took like three walk breaks, but still ended up with a faster pace overall. I think I'm getting increasingly hysterical during some of my long runs. I just listen to my MP3 player and some songs just set of a huge smile on my face and recently some laughter. Not even funny laughing, just happy laughing. I have to wonder what drivers think when they see a guy laughing and running in this heat. The song that did it for me on this run was Keaton Simons- Nobody Knows (very catchy)!
