15 mile bike - 52:00
10 mile run - 1:23:00 (8:18 pace)
15 mile bike - 1:01:00
I stayed up Friday night since I was leaving to train at 0400 anyways. I brought 1 water bottle with sports drink for the ride out to the lake (15mi). Once there, I would carry one GU (Orange Blast!) and use water fountains for the run around the lake trail (10mi). I would then refill my bottle with water for the ride back (15mi).
Everything worked out great! I flew across town on the way to the lake, since there was no traffic I could just run all the lights. Once there, I was concerned my chest pain from yesterday would come back and keep me from running. Luckily, I didn't have any pain and eneded up running a great pace. I would stop at water fountains and soak my head, which was extremely refreshing. I thought it was just great weather until I finished and headed back to my bike. That's when I thought it was actually getting a little chilly. Less than a minute after jumping back on my bike the rain started coming down. I had a pretty interesting bike ride home. Everyone looked at me like I was crazy, but it was better than riding back in the heat.
Once I got back, I rung out my clothes, dried my bike off, made two goldminer sandwiches, then took a loooong nap. Now I'm up just in time for burgers and beer...what a great day!

I can't believe you're running in Brooks Beast. The shoes weigh just as much as you.
I just looked under "team apparel" and the value T is a dollar more than the classic thong. Do they make a value thong?
