Run Info
This run couldn't have gone much smoother. It was a cool comfortable pace; half of which I was able to run on grass or dirt. I walked and stretched for about 10 minutes before and after the run. When I finished, I alternated between soaking my legs in a hot bath and icing my hip for almost 30 minutes. My hip doesn't hurt too bad, but I'm not taking any chances this close to my big race.

Other Stuff
When I used to compete in orienteering I had a "system of orienteering". Basically a mental checklist of everything you should do, before, during and after a meet. I should develop at least a framework for something like that for my running.

I'm also going to try some hot green and white teas from dried tea leaves. I read the article about it in Runner's World and figured it couldn't hurt to find a substitute for coffee. These kinds of tea contain high amounts of a strong anti-inflammatory (EGCG) and anti-oxidants (to prevent cancer).

"I Run for Life" - Melissa Etheridge
This song is awesome and gets me choked up whenever I hear it. If you haven't already, you should check it out!
