On an Exercise Treadmill
The fundraiser was a total success! I riased $650 at the Wal-Mart in about 3 hours. When I got home, another $550 had been donated online from people who read the article in the Dallas Morning News. $1200 total from the fundraiser!!! Way more than I planned on getting, but hey, I'll take it. It was a great time, with some people telling me they read the paper and decided to come out just to say hi. COL, Erin, Raquel and Clay all
took turns running on the other treadmill, which was a big help. I knew I probably shouldn't have run that extra couple miles, but figured if it raised the money it was worth it. I'm thoroughly sore now, but don't care too much because I met my fundraising goal :) Thanks to all the support folks that helped out!
