The heart rate was a little higher than normal considering the pace, but I attribute that to my constant talking with Leah about the world of blogging. She was fascinated, and I enjoyed talking about it, so it was win-win.

Afterwards, we talked for a bit about about my
race this weekend, and she was almost as excited as I was. I think she's more excited because it's my first actual marathon, and she knows how much fun I'm going to have. She also made me feel a little better about the building pressure I've been putting on myself to finish under 4hrs. I should just go out, enjoy the course, and the people, and be happy if I happen to hit my time.

I fly out of DFW at 0730 tomorrow, and I'm packing my bags after this post. I'll be back Monday afternoon, after which I have to drive back to A&M and get my room cleaned up. In short, don't expect anything until Tuesday.

I'm so pumped!
