Lazy Day

0800
Lifted weights for 45min.
Bench, incline bench, lat pull, tricep extensions, butterflys
All done with 3 sets of 10, 8, and 6 with increasing weight

1110
6 x 1/4 mile fartleks?
We paired up with partners and alternated running hard quarter miles with doing our choice of calisthenics. I did squats, monkey bars, dips, pull-ups, and sit-ups between all of my laps. I was exhuasted, and pretty happy with my effort because I was able to keep it consistent without slowing down too much towards the end. I may have upset Matt (my partner) though because he didn't get as much rest as he wanted between loops. Oh well, I signed up to get faster, haha!

Other Stuff
I took an hour nap between my kinesiology classes. I skipped the eliptical and rock climbing today pretty much out of sheer laziness. Instead, I sat around watching TV with Israel and wasting time on the computer. I took another nap between 2030 and 2200 (1.5hrs). Alec and I both slept at the same times today to keep each other from sleeping toooo long. How rediculous is that? For some reason though, several of the guys in our outfit have been really tired lately. In fact, most of the freshmen were asleep in their books during study time this evening. I don't know if everyone is getting sick, or burnt out or what but hopefully It'll pick back up soon.

Dirt Runner posted some interesting stuff about the RR100 this past weekend. He also mentions how the last thing he saw as he left the Far Side aid station was me sleeping in a chair. Unfortunately, he got hit with hypothermia in the night and slept for a couple hours at our station until he was feeling better. He made it 80 miles before he had to call it quits though, and my hats off to him for a tremendous effort!
