Either Mondays or Wednesdays are probably going to end up being my speedwork days. Not on purpose, but just because my running class meets then and we focuse on faster times at shorter dstances. There are also som really fast guys in that class that are probably going to challenge me to keep up. Anyway, the first run in the class left my shins a little sore and I skipped my 5 mile run today. I also think I may only do 10 miles again this weekend. I'm going home so it'll be hard to get myself up early anyhow.

My diet has really been slipping this week also. It may be because I've been burning a few too many calories than I've put in and now I'm wanting to eat more. It could also be just because I can't keep myself to a diet for that long. I'm going ot keep at it though and try to get it back on track.

Hey Chris.

I noticed that in one of your earlier entries that you were taking walk breaks.

Leah has a marathon running book by Jeff Galloway that she let me borrow. It goes in depth of the importance of letting your body rest even before it gets tired (prevents injuries, muscle fatigue, etc). You may want to check that out if you haven't already! :)
