Run Info

This was a pretty brisk run with Steven around West Campus. We left the quad, went through the breezway, and headed to the Vet Med building on University. We shot back through campus down Discovery and up to Research Park. After looping around Research Park, we went out to George Bush Pkwy, and around behind Olsen Field by the Rec. We finished up going under the breezway, and back onto the quad.

It was misting for the first 10 minutes of the run which was nice and cool considering the humidity. I tried to keep on the grass and dirt to conserve my knees, and avoid a recurrence of shin problems. It was a good run on the whole, and I'm so glad to be running again. I just have to remember to stay conservative in my training and build back up gradually. Sorry to all my readers who were left wondering if Team Ragan disappeared from the face of the earth. I just wasn't up to blogging while I wasn't running. Like Dirt Runner during intense training for RR100, I decided to temporarily abandon blogging so I could focus on recovery for a while. Anyway, I'm glad to be back and look forward to catching up on what everyone else has been up to!
